Destination Green   

The coffeetable book version of the story is that in 2006, the three co-founders of Espressodate used our love of coffee, commitment to a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle, and the final months an academic entrepreneurship program to plant the seeds for this healthy-coffee solution.

But this shindig actually started way back in the day. While the memory now seems more like a faded polaroid, Shay can recall the days when they still called him "kiddo" and the mysterious hours he spent with his grandfather.  With at least one eyebrow raised, he watched as his grandfather casually ground date beans into a coffee mixture.

So in this green-tinted age of shopping with our reusable grocery bags, buying organic fruit, and wishing we could afford a Prius, we thought it was about time for coffee to jump on the green ’n healthy bandwagon. Many whiteboard scribble-sessions later, Espressodate was born.
